Dry Martini

Dry Martini

One of (if not the most) iconic cocktails of all time. I don't drink these very often because even though I enjoy them, I'm not crazy about them. A side effect of that is I don't have dry vermouth around that often. Ingredients matter a lot in this one though, and I recently discovered that I much prefer Bombay Sapphire over Tanqueray, and an olive over a lemon twist.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Gin
  • 30 ml Dry Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • Glass: Cocktail
  • Garnish: Lemon Twist or an Olive

Instructions

Add all ingredients to an ice-filled mixing glass.

Stir well until cold.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
