Russian Circles has been one of my favourite bands for many years. Not only do they put out amazing records but they also put on an amazing live show. The band only has one guitarist but the songs often have many guitar parts layered on top of one another. He accomplishes this live by using a looper pedal, which I always love seeing. I love pretty much all Russian Circles, but definitely prefer their songs that trend towards the heavier side of things and the album has a bunch of those. I got to see Russian Circles live last year for the first time in seven years, and I really hope they don't wait so long for next time. Please come to Saskatoon on a tour promoting this album.
