Featured Album - May 2018 - Baptists
As an attempt to write more on this blog, I'm going to start a new (hopefully) regularly occurring series featuring an album I like which was released in the previous month. These won't really be "reviews" so much as just trying to get the word out on sweet albums.

I first found out about Baptists when their drummer joined Aaron Turner's latest band Sumac, who are currently one of my favourites. Honestly I was very surprised I hadn't heard of them sooner. I already listen to a lot of bands out of the Vancouver/Victoria hardcore/grindcore scene, and Baptists are just great. They even get bonus points from me for having a Mass Grave shirt in their band photo. Take a listen; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
