My Top Albums of 2020

Going to stick with the arbitrary number of albums in my top albums list like I did last year. This year my list contains 21 albums that I enjoyed. I've also decided that I'm probably just going to list the albums and not say a bunch of stuff about them.

21. Leeched - To Dull the Blades of Your Abuse

20. Cavern - Powdered

19. Venom Prison - Primeval

18. Igorrr - Spirituality and Distortion

Going to put up two songs for this one, as the album has an insanely wide range. The first is Parpaing (featuring George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher), which is more on the guitar driven side of the album, and the second being Very Noise, which is more on the electronic/noise side of the album.

17. Anaal Nathrakh - Endarkenment

16. Green Druid - At the Maw of Ruin

15. Azusa - Loop of Yesterdays

14. Liturgy - Origin of the Alimonies

13. Sightless Pit - Grave of a Dog

12. The Ocean - Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic

11. Primitive Man - Immersion

10. Pharaoh Overlord - 6

9. Killer be Killed - Reluctant Hero

8. Intronaut - Fluid Existential Inversions

7. Code Orange - Underneath

6. Umbra Vitae - Shadow of Life

5. Fuck the Facts - Pleine Noirceur

4. Sumac - May You Be Held & Two Beasts

For this position on the list I'm including both a full album and also a (19 minute) single. Two Beasts isn't part of the album, but I figured I might as well include/mention it.

3. Old Man Gloom - Seminar VIII: Light of Meaning & Seminar IX: Darkness of Being

Old Man Gloom released a surprise second album out of the blue this year. Even though they're technically two albums I included them together. As good as these albums are, it still feels like something is missing. RIP Caleb.

2. Vile Creature - Glory! Glory! Apathy Took Helm!

1. Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou - May Our Chambers Be Full
