Sten's Album of the Month - November 2020 - Fuck the Facts

After five years, one of my favourite bands of all time has finally returned. I'm not aware of why they were away for so long, but it seems to have been worth it, because this album is awesome, one of their best in quite some time. One thing of note that I've noticed in music videos and promotional photos is that the band seems to be back down to a 3-piece, and that their bassist/backup vocalist is gone now. This doesn't seem to hurt the music at all though. Fuck the Bands is a band I've seen live probably half a dozen times because they actually come through Saskatoon when they tour, and I hope to see them again soon, post-pandemic. I felt really bad for them last time they came because Mel seemed to have a nasty cough but fought through it to put on a show.
